Love to help companion animals? We are looking for you!We are Community Cats United, Inc. We have over 22,000 members and 1,000 groups in 111 countries and all 50 US states. We are 100% volunteer and a 501(c)3 non-profit group.Community cats are the cats that live outside, through no choice of their own. They can be feral (wild), semi-feral or friendly. The friendlies can be humanely trapped and adopted out. But ferals and semi-ferals many times do not adapt well to being pets. These cats should never end up in a shelter. They should be humanely trapped, fixed and returned to caregivers. They are the linchpin of no-kill success. We are looking for a passionate animal supporter to help us run our Barn Cat Program. It is a volunteer position that needs the ability to organize and follow-up. Ability to network and brainstorm are pluses. The desire to help save cats lives' is a must! Prior experience not needed. If you are interested in helping humanely and successfully address the overpopulation of cats and dogs, let us know!
