Agency Description
Ottawa County Community Action Agency aims to reduce the effects of financial hardships by promoting self-sufficiency and empowering individuals and families to achieve economic independence. We have programs for food assistance, utility bill assistance, home weatherization, home rehab, and other misc. programs dependent on funding. Our volunteer opportunities are mostly focused on our food assistance programs, especially our senior program, CSFP. Our typical volunteer roles include, packing food boxes, home delivery, and helping at distributions (loading boxes into vehicles or helping check clients in).
